Samson, Jadeja, and Curran have given their consent, and an Expression of Interest process has been initiated.

Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) president Sourav Ganguly has confirmed that Team India hasn’t requested a spin-friendly pitch for the Kolkata Test. The pitch is expected to last 5 days, with spinners and pacers both getting into the game with cracks emerging as the game advances.

Sudharsan works on leg-side game
Gautam Gambhir paid special attention to Sai Sudharsan in the nets prior to the India vs South Africa 1st Test. Sudharsan had an extended batting session at the centre wicket. The focus seemed to be on his leg-side play, which proved to be a weakness for Sudharsan in England. Gambhir joined in the middle of the session and watched the batter with a keen eye.
