The Asia Cup 2025 final is to be played on September 28, as India and Pakistan are ready for an epic battle. This would be the first time in the history of the tournament, that the two giants of Asian cricket, clash for the trophy. In each edition final, there has been a standout performer, and this edition is going to be no different. Asia Cup finals, player of the match winners

In the 1984 edition, it was just a three-match tournament, where a final match wasn’t played. Three teams, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka played two matches each, and a winner was decided from that. So, the first player of the match in an Asia Cup final, belongs to Javed Miandad, while the latest is Mohammed Siraj in the 2023 edition.
